Terms and Conditions

1. Scheduling & Weather

Pavement maintenance is a weather-sensitive process. To ensure a high-quality bond and proper curing, Vermont Pavement reserves the right to reschedule services due to rain, excessive humidity, or unfavorable temperature conditions. Our team monitors local forecasts closely and will provide as much notice as possible should your appointment need to be moved to ensure the longevity of your investment.

2. Driveway Preparation

To ensure the highest quality finish, we require the following:

  • Clear Access: All vehicles and equipment must be moved off the driveway at least 2 hours prior to our arrival.
  • Water Management: Automatic sprinkler systems must be turned off 24 hours before and 48 hours after service.
  • Surface Condition: While we perform a professional cleaning/blow-off, and edge trimmig, please ensure heavy mud or debris is cleared prior to our arrival.

3. Post-Service Care & Drying Times

To ensure the sealant cures properly and provides the maximum protection for your asphalt, please observe the following wait times:

Foot Traffic: Please keep people and pets off the treated surface for at least 24 hours.

Vehicle Traffic: Do not drive or park on the new surface for a minimum of 3 days (72 hours).

Note on Scuffing: During high-temperature days, new sealant remains flexible. Avoid “power steering” (turning the steering wheel while the vehicle is stationary), as this can cause temporary scuff marks while the material continues to harden over the first few weeks.

4. Estimates & Service Limits

  • Satellite Estimates: Our initial quotes are based on satellite imagery and municipal parcel data. We reserve the right to adjust the final price if the physical site dimensions or conditions differ significantly upon arrival.
  • Crack Repair: Our hot-applied filler prevents water penetration, but please note that Vermont’s extreme freeze-thaw cycles can cause new cracks to form in the surrounding asphalt over time.

5. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise noted. We strive to make the billing process as simple as possible and accept the following payment methods:

Digital Payments: Pay securely via credit card or bank transfer through our Jobber portal link included in your invoice.

Cash: Exact change is appreciated if paying by cash on-site.

Check: Please make checks payable to Vermont Pavement.
